When war breaks lives and fractures communities, it is not enough to simply feel sorrow. We are called to respond — with our voices, our hands, and our hearts.

“Happy Children of the Motherland. Autumn 2026”

The full-scale war in Ukraine on the territory of Kyiv and Kyiv region entered a new phase in 2026, with round-the-clock attacks with missiles and jet drones, which affects children's physical and psychological health. Children need rest and recovery in the absence of constant threats to their lives. The purpose of the project is to organize a 7-day program of health improvement and psychological rehabilitation for children of the Kyiv region to help them improve their physical and emotional health, temper their spirit, and strengthen their faith in a happy future. Budget: UAH 500,000 or USD 12,000 or EUR 10,000 or GBP 8,400

Our Mission

Rotary in Action

The Ukrainian Relief Task Force is Rotary District 6220’s humanitarian answer to that call. Through medical aid, mental health support, and strategic partnerships, we deliver vital resources where they are needed most — without politics, without borders, and without pause.

We are not peacekeepers, politicians, or soldiers. We are neighbors — acting in accordance with Rotary’s Four-Way Test, guided by truth, fairness, goodwill, and the belief that our shared humanity demands action.

Why We Stand

A thousand years of resilience

To understand the war is to first understand the people. Ukraine’s story did not begin in 2022 — it stretches back more than a millennium of faith, struggle, and courage.

“I can sum up the last year in three words: Fear, love, hope.”

— Oleksandr Hranyk, School Director, Kharkiv

Human suffering calls for human response.

We are Rotarians — people of action — committed to easing the burden of war with compassion, service, and hope.
